Though really inviting from the outside, I did not find the Het Schuim very attractive on the inside. The art gallery is worthy, but it seems that the employees are too intrested in it and not so much on the customers! It took the bartender a while to get to us though the place was almost empty. Nevertheless it's a very interesting place to visit.
This cafe/bar is a relaxing venue to have a simple but tasty breakfast or lunch or sip cappuccinos with friends while having a good conversation. It's especially nice when you can enjoy the various art exhibitions and wall paintings by local artists on display within the venue. These change monthly, so it's almost like walking into a new place every time you visit it.
It's mainly frequented by regulars, but a new face is always more than welcome. Don't worry about overpricing as you will get your money's worth in this place.
Don't forget to visit on Saturday's as they will put aside the loungy chairs to make some room for classic techno and house tunes for your entertainment.
